About Khaldo · हाम्रो बारेमा

A shared record of Nepal's road hazards.

Khaldo is run by the Road Safety Foundation. It gives residents, volunteers, and inspectors one place to report road damage, check it, and follow it until it is fixed.

How it works

From a pothole to a public record.

  1. 01

    Someone reports a hazard

A resident pins the exact spot on the map and adds a short description of the problem.

  2. 02

    Photos back it up

Photos show what the hazard looks like. They are held for review and only shown publicly once a reviewer approves them.

  3. 03

    The community confirms it

People who use the same road can confirm the report, which helps separate active hazards from old ones.

  4. 04

    An inspector checks it

A trained inspector visits the site, records evidence, and a foundation reviewer approves or rejects the result.
